Great app, easy to use, great reports

The best program I have used. It has a slight learning curve, but once familiar it is excellent.

I am a tech geek so Ive checked out many different apps to help me coach - boys and girls basketball, soccer, and varsity track. This is a great app for tracking stats and gives a beautiful player summary as well as many other cool things. Although I love the app, I coach middle school Bball so there are a lot of missed shots and rebounds. This app is impossible to use live and get everything. Ive tried and so have my assistants. I watch the tape after the games. It holds a ton of information that can be exported as PDFs that I post in a shared google drive for players to view.

I love using this app for statistics, syncs with multiple online sources. A few more statistics would be nice such as charges taken and the ability to break down statistics by quarter. Im sure they are working on these things and I would definitely recommend this app.

This seems to be the best of the competition in these apps. I think with more reporting capabilities this could be five star.... But this is still the best that I have used

Wonderful for teams. Makes life much easier for coaches because someone can it after just a few sessions. Immediate information and much more detailed analytics for coaches if person doing is reasonably attentive.

This app. Is great, great reports, easy to use. Only wish it had an edit button to fix things later on.

Easy to use. Editing works well with event log and can even re-order events. Can easily swipe to remove a mistaken entry.

Its simply the best app for stats for Coaches

iscout is one of at least 5 apps with 4/5 star ratings which is no surprise since using an app is more fun and more complete than paper and pencil. The strengths of this app are easy scoring of major stats, OK editing and good reports/shot charts. Unfortunately, TRACKING SUBSTITUTIONS IS POORLY DESIGNED AND TOO SLOW. As the game is on, you must leave the main page, select who goes in and out and then go back to the main entry page. If the team plays at a fast pace and frequently subs more than one player, this turns out to be the the most annoying part of tracking all the stat. Even if you don’t care about playing time or advanced stats, you’d like to get the subs right to make all the other stats easier to track. I didn’t realize how important this step is until I started using this app. Prior to being deleted, the user forum had repeated requests/comments about subbing starting back in 2010. Unfortunately, the app updates mainly improve data sharing with partner websites. I hope I’m wrong, but it is hard to have any faith that the developers will improve the subbing problems. Time to look for an alternative.

this is a very good app to track your team and players.

I have been using this app for 6 years. During Jr. High I was able to use this app for stats while video taping with my other hand! High school is too fast to use the app during the game. But I still use it while watching the video of the game. The reports are great to send to coaches and for record keeping. Many options for the reports are a plus. If u ever are stuck, they always have a quick reply!

The app is very reliable and gives us accurate stats to upload easily onto the Internet. Great tool!

Havent looked at any other stat apps because this app has served our basketball program well for 4 years now!

I started using iScout in the 2010/2011 season. We use Krossover and Hudl as the primary source for our film, but we have found iScout to be very useful for charting opponents shots. I typically chart between 250 to 300 games each winter, depending on how deep we go in the IHSAA state tournament. I can chart throughout the year, then run a report on a player or team and share it via email with our coaches or even trade with other coaches. I dont track boards, turnovers or any other stats... It would be hard to keep up with all the stats within the app, especially if it was a double scout. The biggest downfall, IMO, is the lack of a login. This hinders our staffs ability to merge stats kept on separate devices. If the app could develop this functionality, we could provide each of our assistant coaches with the login data and they could chart stats right into the app... Instead, they have to pencil/paper them so I can enter it into the same iPad. Its a pain and causes for a lot of duplicate work.

Been using this app for 3+ years and they only keep making it better. Well worth the money. Solid performance and the creators are very responsive to your questions and suggestions. I would highly suggest this app.
